Ways to Give

A contribution in any amount has an impact. From monthly donations to community fundraisers to becoming a corporate partner and more, there are many ways for you to make a difference in your community.

Make A Donation

Every gift helps us provide excellent patient care for years to come. You can choose to channel your donations towards a single purpose, or use one donation to fund many causes.

Monthly Giving
You’d be surprised at how giving a little amounts to a lot. Contributing monthly helps our healthcare heroes plan ahead for the community’s longer term needs.

Gift of Shares

Donating stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares can be a highly effective and tax-efficient way to support your community hospital. By contributing these financial instruments, you not only make a meaningful impact on the well-being of your local healthcare facility but also gain the advantage of potential tax savings.

Shining Star

Celebrate the birth of a new family member, while supporting enhancements and equipment purchases for all of our tiniest patients and their families. Placing your baby’s name on our ‘Shining Star’ commemorative wall is a unique way to celebrate a very special occasion.

Tranquility Garden

Displaying a loved one’s name on a Tranquility Garden Butterfly is a very special way to celebrate the life of a family member or friend, while supporting enhancements and equipment purchases for the hospital. The Tranquility Garden patio is located directly adjacent to the Palliative Care Unit on the second floor of Burnaby Hospital.

Cryptocurrency Donations

While our hospital continues to expand, so have the ways we receive generous gifts from donors like you. Much like other appreciated assets such as stock, Burnaby Hospital Foundation now accepts Cryptocurrency donations. Your cryptocurrency donation will support the delivery of highest quality care, close to home.

Cheers to You

The Cheers to You grateful patient program honours Burnaby Hospital staff members, physicians, and departments who have made an outstanding effort to provide exceptional medical service to patients. Show your gratitude by making a gift that will fund improvements to the hospital that supports our staff in their life-saving jobs.
