A Night of Giving That Strengthens Care in Our Community
The Spring Festival Gala this year was a truly special celebration of culture, community, and kindness. Families and friends gathered with joy in their hearts, eager to share in lively performances and heartfelt moments that honored tradition and brought people together. The evening was filled with laughter, music, vibrant costumes, and the warmth that comes when a community unites for a shared purpose.
Thanks to this incredible generosity, the event raised an inspiring $11,685 in support of care close to home. Each contribution, whether big or small, reflected the spirit of giving that drives our community forward and helps make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
We are deeply grateful to the North America Art Association for organizing this unforgettable evening and for choosing Burnaby Hospital & Community Foundation as the beneficiary for the ninth year. Their dedication to the arts and unwavering support over the years has brought joy to countless attendees and strengthened the connection between culture and community care. Being selected again as a partner in this tradition is a true honour.
The Spring Festival Gala showed us that community is not just a place, but a feeling of togetherness and purpose. When we gather to celebrate culture and give back to one another, we strengthen the fabric of our city and help build a future where care and compassion are shared by all. This year’s gala reminded everyone present that the joy of giving uplifts us all and creates lasting memories that reach far beyond one night of celebration.
