A $500,000 Challenge
When the Li Family immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong nearly 40 years ago, they found a home in Burnaby — and have spent the decades since giving back to the community. Now, through the Li Family Foundation, they’ve made a $500,000 matching gift to help upgrade Burnaby Hospital’s MRI suite.
Their gift is a challenge: an invitation for individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations to join them in strengthening local healthcare. Every dollar donated, up to $500,000, will be matched — doubling the impact of every gift and bringing us closer to a modern MRI suite our community can rely on for years to come.
