What an incredible night! Our 11th Annual Gala, Around the Globe, presented by the Burnaby Firefighters Charitable Society, was a true celebration of community and generosity. Thanks to your amazing support, we raised over $700,000 for urgently needed equipment for Burnaby Hospital, making a real difference for patients and families. A heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors, inspiring guests, and dedicated volunteers whose passion and commitment made this night unforgettable. We can’t wait to celebrate with you again in 2026 and to continue our work to build a brighter future for Burnaby!
ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
Our community has relied upon Burnaby Hospital for compassionate care close to home since 1952. In 1982, Burnaby Hospital & Community Foundation was established to build support for the fundraising needs of their local hospital. It was one of the first hospital foundations in the region and to this day continues to help bridge the gap between what the government provides and the evolving needs of our growing community.
Support Our Bright Future
Help transform our community hospital into a state-of-the-art campus of care that will meet the growing healthcare needs of Burnaby and surrounding areas for generations to come. The redevelopment will expand patient services and boost the number of beds by almost 50 percent. Upon completion, the campus will have two new patient care towers and a cancer treatment centre.
