Around the Globe Gala Raises Over $700,000 for Burnaby Hospital
On November 7th, we came together at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Burnaby Conference Centre for our 11th Annual Gala, Around the Globe. It was an unforgettable evening, filled with vibrant music, entertainment and culture. Most importantly, thanks to you, we raised over $700,000 for urgently needed equipment.
This success was only possible because of you: our generous sponsors, auction donors, dedicated volunteers, and every guest who joined us. Your enthusiasm and commitment truly made this event shine, and we are so grateful for your support.
Funds raised at Around the Globe will directly support Burnaby Hospital by equipping our dedicated staff with state-of-the art medical technology, like our busy Surgery Department. As one of the most active surgical units in Fraser Health, our team performs more than 11,000 procedures each year. These vital upgrades will give our surgeons the advanced tools they need to operate with even greater precision and safety—enhancing outcomes and ensuring patients continue to receive exceptional surgical care close to home, when they need it most.
