5th Annual Chinese Cultural Heritage Festival Raises $5k for Hospital Redevelopment

It was another successful year for the annual Chinese Cultural Heritage Festival, hosted by the Canadian Community Service Association (CCSA).

The event took place on July 31, 2022 at Burnaby’s Swangard Stadium and notably welcomed Burnaby Mayor, Mike Hurley and Councilors, local MP’s and MLA’s, influential business members and enthusiastic event goers. The festivities honored Chinese cultures and traditions, celebrating Burnaby’s rich diversity.

During the event, the CCSA presented a charitable donation of $5,000 to Burnaby Hospital Foundation, in support of the highly anticipated hospital redevelopment. This is the 5th year that the CCSA named the Foundation their charity of choice for this event. Claire Wang, VP of Finance and Operation, attended the event and accepted the donation on behalf of the Foundation.
