10th Annual Gala raises over $600k for hospital redevelopment
Burnaby Hospital Foundation is thrilled to announce the success of its 10th Annual Gala, Bourbon Street Nights, held on October 26, 2024, at the Delta Burnaby Hotels Conference Centre. This year’s event brought together community members, sponsors, and volunteers, culminating in an impressive fundraising total of over $600,000 to support the redevelopment of Burnaby Hospital.
The gala, themed around the vibrant and diverse atmosphere of New Orleans, attracted an inspiring crowd dedicated to enhancing healthcare services in Burnaby. With the support of both new and returning sponsors, the evening featured a three-course meal, live entertainment, award ceremonies, a thrilling live auction, and opportunities for attendees to engage in meaningful conversations about the future of healthcare in our community.
“Thanks to the incredible support from our community, we are making significant strides towards improving our local hospital,” says Burnaby Hospital Foundation President and CEO, Kristy James. “The funds raised will play a crucial role in ensuring that Burnaby Hospital can continue to provide high-quality care to the residents of Burnaby, East Vancouver and beyond.”
