Kyla Slusar
Development Coordinator
Coming from the hospitality industry, Kyla joined the Burnaby Hospital Foundation team as an Executive Assistant and soon fell in love with working for a non-profit. Her enthusiasm for engaging with staff in the hospital and the community at events, led Kyla to her current role as Development Coordinator. Her passion for helping others is what drives her to find new, creative and fun ways to work with hospital staff, donors, and the community, while making a positive impact. Kyla has a personal connection to the hospital as she was born at Burnaby Hospital as well as grew up in the city of Burnaby.
In her spare time Kyla enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new recipes, and finding the best iced coffee.
