Burnaby Hospital has one of the largest and most experienced surgery practices in the province, performing thousands of procedures each year. In fact, Burnaby Hospital has recently opened a High Volume Arthroplasty Centre, as our Orthopedic Surgeons have been performing more hip and knee surgeries than any other hospital within our health region. This year, our Orthopedic surgeons need a specialized Surgical Telescope to use for minimally invasive surgical procedures. This allows them to help even more patients and provide the best surgical care possible.
