Burnaby Hospital Foundation’s Signature Event, The Slice, raises much-needed funds to support Burnaby Hospital’s most urgent equipment needs. In its 24th year, the event continues to bring together a passionate community of supporters for a friendly game on the golf course and an evening of fun with friends.
The Slice began its days in 1986 as Burnaby Hospital Foundation’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament. In its 23 years of existence, the event has helped Burnaby Hospital perform at its best by raising support for the hospital’s highest priority equipment needs. The event has raised $1.3 million to date.
The Slice highlights include:
- BBQ on the links and golf...scramble style!
- Tee hole challenges and activities
- A dinner of delicious endeavours prepared by Hilton Chef Tong Lim
- Shopping to your heart's delight at The Slice Silent Auction
- Laughing out loud with Roman Danylo
