Auxiliary to Burnaby Hospital

The Auxiliary to Burnaby Hospital exists to enhance the quality of care for patients and staff at Burnaby Hospital through both direct patient comfort and fundraising.

Over the years, the Auxiliary has donated over $2 million to support critically needed diagnostic, medical and surgical equipment that ensures Burnaby Hospital has the equipment needed to provide excellent care.

Last year, 87 members of the Auxiliary gave 18,500 volunteer hours of service to help patients find their way throughout the hospital, provide support to various departments, and manage the Burnaby Hospital Gift Shop (located on-site) and the Burnaby Hospital Thrift Store (located at 3185 Kingsway, Vancouver). All proceeds from the hospital's Gift Shop and Thrift Store support Burnaby Hospital's highest priority equipment needs.
