Leaving a Gift in Your Will

Canadians leave estate gifts for many different reasons. For some, it is a way to ensure their memory lives on, for many it’s a way to ensure that their favorite charity is able to continue its important work, and for others it represents a way to facilitate the tax implications that come with the transfer of one’s estate to surviving relatives.

Leaving a bequest to Burnaby Hospital Foundation in your will is an ideal way to continue making a difference to the health of our community for future generations. All requests for the benefit of the Burnaby Hospital Foundation should be directed in your will to the Burnaby Hospital Foundation (our legal name).

Those who have left a gift or intend to leave a gift over $5,000 to Burnaby Hospital Foundation through their will are acknowledged on our Legacy Society Wall. Please let us know if you will be leaving a gift to the Foundation so that we can include your name on the Legacy Society Wall, which recognizes future gifts that will be made.
