Regional Sales Manager, Starbucks Coffee Canada
Riaz is the Regional Sales Manager for Starbucks Coffee Canada Foodservice division. He has been with Starbucks Coffee for over eight years, providing his expertise in both the operations and sales business units.
Prior to joining Starbucks, Riaz’s employment background includes retail operations, marketing and procurement. Riaz’s educational background is in special needs education. He worked with the Burnaby School District for 3 years before venturing into his own business. Riaz has also been an entrepreneur in a variety of business and real estate settings. Riaz has served in a variety of volunteer leadership positions and has served on fundraising projects for the Vancouver Public Library, Simon Fraser University, Children’s Hospital, and Aga Khan Foundation Partnership Walk. Riaz was born in Tanzania. His family immigrated to Canada in 1972 and has lived in Burnaby for over 30 years.
