Cathy Heritage

Cathie joined Fraser Health from Vancouver Coastal Health, where she was the Operations Director for Medicine at Vancouver Acute.
This large portfolio encompassed the overall operational management of Acute and Sub-Acute Medicine, Acute Care for the Elderly, Bone Marrow Transplant, Cardiac Sciences, Renal and Palliative Care covering both VGH and UBC hospitals.
A nurse by profession, Cathie holds a Masters of Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University, and a Bachelor in Nursing from the University of Victoria. Cathie has 23 years of experience in education, utilization, front line management and senior administration. She is also a forth generation Burnaby resident, and as such is uniquely suited to leading Burnaby Hospital in serving the needs of its community.
